Police release 911 calls from Colin Kaepernick incident in Miami

Last month, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was linked to a "suspicious incident" in a Miami hotel that involved a young lady, 49ers teammate Quinton Patton and Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Ricardo Lockette. Kaepernick has maintained that he did nothing wrong, and the Miami Police Department recently released 911 calls that seem to back up his claim.

A man believed to be Lockette made a phone call to the 911 dispatch saying there was a naked woman in his friend's bed that refused to leave.

The caller made it clear that his "friend" was no longer there.

"I want to report there's a young lady in my friend's bed," said the caller, via the San Jose Mercury News.

"He's not here. She's going to wait in his bed. She's not leaving. We asked her to leave. We told her he won't be here tonight. She said she's not leaving until she sees him."

The police released another call that was made by a hotel security guard, who also stated the woman would not leave and that "she said her name was Jesus" and "she's just crying."

The Mercury News transcribed the second call:

"She actually took her clothes off and layed in the bed," the caller responded.

"So she's fully naked on the bed" asked the operator.

"Yes."

"So she's waiting for her boyfriend? Is that it?"

"He's not her boyfriend. He's just someone she wants to sleep with. But he's not here so she went and got in bed naked, and said she's staying there until he got back."

The woman was eventually taken to the hospital where she filed a claim with police. None of the men who have been linked to the suite were charged with a crime, but the case investigation remains open.
