Invicta FC president Shannon Knapp told MMAjunkie.com that Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino — better known as Cris Cyborg — will be making her 135-pound debut in December at Invicta FC 10.
Cyborg's opponent is currently still TBA.
The UFC has been working to find new challengers for women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, but Cyborg, one of her most intriguing potential opponents, is not currently under the promotional banner.
Cyborg has been unable to challenge Rousey due to poor contract negotiations in the past and her unwillingness to move down from 145-pounds to Rousey's 135-pound division.
Recently, the all-female MMA promotion inked a deal with UFC Fight Pass to be the exclusive distributor of their product.

Whether or not that relationship and Cyborg's change in weight class leads to her eventually moving to the UFC remains to be seen, but UFC will have an up-close look at one of the toughest challengers for its champ.
The UFC also recently signed undefeated former professional boxer Holly Holm to the women's bantamweight division, adding another potential challenger for Rousey's belt.
