NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Vanderbilt guard A.J. Astroth has decided to transfer.

Vanderbilt coach Kevin Stallings said Monday in a university release announcing Astroth's decision that "he is looking for an opportunity to play more and we understand that.''

Astroth, a 6-foot-6 guard from Tampa, just finished his freshman season. He played in nine games and had a total of four points and five rebounds.
