INDIANAPOLIS -- Notre Dame forward Luke Harangody, who missed the Irish's past two games while recovering from pneumonia, will return to the starting lineup Saturday against Ohio State, SI.com has learned.

Harangody came down with the illness while the Irish were at the Maui Invitational, where they lost to North Carolina in the title game. Harangody had just 13 points and seven rebounds in that contest, far below his season averages of 22.6 points and 11.2 rebounds.

Coach Mike Brey had initially planned to take a cautious approach with Harangody's return, but the junior forward participated in practice on Friday and was cleared for Saturday's game at Lucas Oil Stadium in the Hall of Fame Showcase.

He sat out of the seventh-ranked Irish's wins over Furman and South Dakota following the Maui trip.
