Five-star forward Ray Smith commits to Arizona

Arizona head coach Sean Miller led the Wildcats to the Elite Eight in 2014.

Five-star recruit Ray Smith has committed to the University of Arizona, according to a post on his Twitter account.

Smith, a 6-foot 7-inch, 185 pound forward from Las Vegas, tore his ACL at the Adidas Unrivaled basketball camp in Chicago last week.

Smith, who received offers from UCLA, Oregon, Connecticut and Georgetown, is ranked 10th overall by Rivals and No. 26 by ESPN for the 2015 class.

Smith averaged 24.7 points, 6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2 steals per game during his junior season at Las Vegas High.
