Heralded power forward prospect Chase Jeter is set to announce his college decision Monday on an ESPNU telecast.
The 6-foot-10, 220-pound Jeter is the No. 8-ranked player in the class of 2015, according to the recruiting website Rivals.com.
“In a class where the big men make it special, Jeter is one of the elite post players,” says ESPN national recruiting director Paul Biancardi. “He has the ability to score in the low post with his back to the basket utilizing the jump hook inside, his go to move. Additionally, he is a very committed and consistent rebounder who runs the floor well resulting in easy baskets on offense and preventing them on defense.”
While Duke is viewed as the favorite to land Jeter, he is also believed to be considering Arizona, Oregon, UCLA, Kansas and UNLV.
