Three top-150 recruits verbally commit to Oregon State

Three heralded recruits -- small forward Tres Trinkle, point guard Derrick Bruce and shooting guard Stephen Thompson -- verbally committed to Oregon State on Tuesday, according to reports.

Tinkle, the son of Beavers coach Wayne Tinkle, is the No. 88-ranked player in the class of 2015, while Thompson, the son of OSU assistant coach Stephen Thompson, is ranked 74th and Bruce 123rd.

The only other player verbally committed to Oregon State in the class of 2015 is forward Drew Eubanks, who is ranked 133rd.

Oregon State went 16-16 last season and hired Tinkle to replace Craig Robinson, who was fired in May.
