Report: Texas point guard Isaiah Taylor out 4-6 weeks with broken wrist
Friday November 21st, 2014

Texas point guard Isaiah Taylor will likely miss four to six weeks with a wrist injury, reports ESPN's Jeff Goodman.

The sophomore starter sustained the injury while driving to the basket in the second half of Thursday's win over Iowa in the 2K Classic. Texas coach Rick Barnes told ESPN that there is a break in Taylor's wrist.

Taylor underwent X-rays after the game, but the Longhorns will seek further evaluation on Taylor's injury in Austin, according to the report.

Over three games this season, Taylor leads the Longhorns with averages of 15 points and 1.3 steals per game. He also ranks second on the team in minutes (25.0) and third in assists (2.3).

The Longhorns (3-0) are ranked 10th in the latest edition of the AP Poll. They play California at Madison Square Garden on Friday.
