Kansas State pulled out an upset win over No. 12 Iowa State on Saturday after a late steal and dunk by Wesley Iwundu.

With 18 seconds remaining and Iowa State leading 69-68, junior forward Georges Niang forced an inbounds pass into a crowded window. Iwundu jumped to deflect it and ended up with a wide-open path to a two-handed dunk that gave K-State a 70-69 lead.

Iowa State (20-8, 10-6 Big 12) was unable to produce a quality shot on its final possession, giving the Cyclones their second straight loss. K-State (15-15, 8-9 Big 12) won its second straight.

Niang, Iowa State's leading scorer, led all players with 21 points. He shot 5 of 7 from three-point range. Iwundu finished with 11 points for K-State, third behind Nigel Johnson (17) and Justin Edwards (16).

Iowa State next hosts No. 16 Oklahoma on Monday, while K-State has a week off until playing at Texas in the regular-season finale.
