The 2015 women's NCAA tournament bracket is set, and Connecticut, Notre Dame, South Carolina and Maryland received the No. 1 seeds from the selection committee on Monday night.
UConn received the first overall seed in the tournament and was placed in the Albany Region. The school is vying for its 10th NCAA tournament title, which would tie coach Geno Auriemma with UCLA men's coach John Wooden for the most all-time. Connecticut won the tournament last season.
UConn, which went 32-1 this season, will host St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday at 9 p.m. ET.
Notre Dame, which earned its fourth consecutive No. 1 seed, has won 17 games in a row. The team plays Montana at home on Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
South Carolina went 30-2 this season, and one of its losses was to UConn on the road. The Gamecocks host Savannah State on Friday at 5 p.m. ET.
The final No. 1 seed, Maryland, has won 24 games in a row. It finished the regular season 30-2 and hosts New Mexico State on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. ET.
The championship game will take place on April 7 in Tampa, Fla.
