Clark Kellogg: Shaka Smart will start out strong in Texas

NCAA tournament analyst Clark Kellogg said he believes Shaka Smart will have a strong start at Texas. The comments came on Thursday's airing of SI Now

"I don't know if he'll have a significant challenge," Kellogg told host SI Now host Maggie Gray. "He's primed and ready for this step forward and I think he's going to do exceedingly well there.

Smart agreed on Thursday to become the head coach at Texas.

The Longhorns parted ways last week with former head coach Rick Barnes after 14 seasons.

Kellogg is an on-air analyst for CBS and Turner Sports during the NCAA tournament.
