Bowling Green will hire Miami (FL) assistant coach Michael Huger as its new head men's basketball coach, Gary Parrish of CBS Sports reports

The school and Huger have agreed to a six-year contract, which will be announced on Thursday, according to the report.

Earlier this month, Bowling Green fired head coach Chris Jans after he was found to have acted inappropriately with a woman in public. A video later surfaced showing Jans touching a woman on the buttocks at a bar.

Huger, who attended Bowling Green and played for the Falcons from 1989-93, became an assistant coach at Miami in 2011.

Huger was an assistant at George Mason prior to his stint with the Hurricanes.

Bowling Green finished 21-12 this season.
