Five-star center Caleb Swanigan has committed to Purdue, Scout.com's Evan Daniels reports.

Swanigan, a 6'8" junior from Fort Wayne, Indiana, decommitted from Michigan State earlier this month.

Swanigan is ranked 18th nationally in the class of 2015 in 247.com's composite rankings.

He reportedly also considered Kentucky, Arizona, Cal, Duke and Chicago State.

Purdue's front-court was a strength in 2014-15, with seven-footers A.J. Hammons and Isaac Haas sharing minutes at center. Both Haas and Hammons return in 2015-16.

Swanigan, who attends Homestead Sr. High School, was Indiana's Mr. Basketball in 2015.
