Xavier point guard Edmond Sumner will return for Saturday’s game against Marquette after missing three games with a concussion, ESPN reports.

Sumner was injured early in the game Dec. 31 against Villanova after taking a hard fall. He was taken off the court on a stretcher and taken to a hospital. Sumner checked out that day, but has been held out for the past couple of weeks. The Musketeers have gone 3–0 in his absence.

The redshirt freshman has averaged 11 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists this season.

“He's good to go,” Xavier coach Chris Mack told ESPN’s Jeff Goodman. “He won't have any restrictions, but he's not going to play 40 minutes Saturday.”

No. 7 Xavier (15–1) takes on Marquette (12–5) in Milwaukee on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET.
