Georgia Tech pulled off an upset of No. 19 Notre Dame on Saturday evening thanks to a timely hoop from Marcus Georges-Hunt.
Georges-Hunt received the ball on the right wing with seconds remaining in a 62–61 game, drove into the lane and finished through three defenders to give the Yellow Jackets a 63–62 lead with just a second remaining.
The senior finished with a game-high 19 points on 7-of-17 shooting with seven assists.
Georgia Tech is now 15–12 on the year, while the Fighting Irish drop to 18–8.
