Saint Louis has hired Travis Ford as its head coach, the university announced.

Last week, Ford parted ways with Oklahoma State after eight seasons with the Cowboys. Ford compiled a 155—111 record. He left the program with three years and $7.2M in guaranteed salary remaining on his contract.

Oklahoma State finished the season with a 12–20 record that includes a 3–15 finish against Big 12 conference opponents.

Ford replaces Jim Crews, who was fired after four seasons in which he compiled a 77–56 record. Crews took over the program after Rick Majerus resigned as head coach and left the program due to his health in 2011. Majerus died in Dec. 2012.

St. Louis was 11–21 this season
