Kentucky freshman forward Skal Labissiere has declared for the NBA draft and plans to sign with an agent, the program announced Tuesday.
A first-round prospect, Labissiere made 18 starts and 36 appearances for the Wildcats this season. He averaged 6.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in his freshman campaign, while shooting 51.6% from the field.
The Port-au-Prince, Haiti native helped Kentucky to a 27–9 record this season, as the Wildcats won the SEC regular season and tournament titles.
The NBA draft will be held June 23 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
