Villanova basketball star Kris Jenkins will withdraw from the NBA draft and return to school to play his senior season, he announced on Twitter on Monday.
Jenkins made a buzzer-beating three-point shot in this year’s NCAA tournament championship game to give the Wildcats a victory over North Carolina.
The 6'6" forward led his team in three-pointers (100) last season while averaging 13.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.
It was a good experience going through this process but I’m looking forward to focusing on graduating next year and becoming a great leader.— Kris Jenkins (@bigticket2) May 3, 2016
The NBA draft takes place on June 23 in New York.
