With its NCAA Tournament hopes dwindling, Arkansas is about to begin a pivotal stretch without two important contributors. Sophomore guard Michael Qualls and junior forward Alandise Harris have been suspended indefinitely for "conduct detrimental to the team," coach Mike Anderson announced Saturday.

"All of our student-athletes are held to a high standard and everyone is accountable for their actions," Anderson said in a statement. "We are trying to build the ultimate team and everyone has to be on board to make that happen. Our expectations of our student-athletes is that they reflect positively on themselves and our program at all times and that they enter each day as a Razorback with a positive attitude that helps us continue to grow this program."

Qualls, who scored 16 points in the Razorbacks’ loss Tuesday to Missouri, is averaging 11.7 points and 4.7 rebounds in 25.6 minutes this season. Harris is averaging 9.1 points and 3.6 rebounds.

The Razorbacks play at LSU Saturday afternoon to kick off a string of four tough games that also includes road trips to Vanderbilt and Missouri.

Arkansas sits in 12th place in the SEC standings with a 2-5 conference record.
