There were already enough big moments on the first day of the tournament, but New Mexico State's Kevin Aronis gave us one more. He buried a deep three to send the No. 13 New Mexico State Aggies to overtime against No. 4 San Diego State. NMSU clawed and clawed against the Aztecs and finally got a chance to tie it after San Diego State turned it over when it tried to get the ball in too quickly. The Aggies couldn't pull it out, falling 73-69 in overtime. San Diego State survives to play North Dakota State on Saturday.
