Kevin Ollie won't be leaving Connecticut's sidelines for the NBA anytime soon.

After leading the Huskies to the national championship in April and immediately being thrust into the coaching rumor mill, Ollie has agreed to a $3-million-per-year extension with Connecticut, according to a report from Yahoo Sports. There is no word on the length of the deal, but a salary of that amount would have been enough to put Ollie among the top 10 best-paid coaches in the NCAA tournament this past season.

According to the USA Today coaches salary database, Ollie checked in at No. 34 among tournament coaches this season with a salary of $1.25 million.

Ollie took over at UConn in 2011 when Jim Calhoun retired, and the 41-year-old has compiled a 52-18 record across two seasons on the Huskies bench. He steered the program through a postseason ban in 2013 -- a penalty for poor APR scores -- and all the way to the national championship in 2014 with a 60-54 win over Kentucky in the title game.
