Boston College head coach Steve Addazio said that in his former days as an assistant at Florida, Tim Tebow had the 'it factor oozing off his uniform,' according to an ESPN-run Twitter account.

Addazio added that not everyone on the Gators' coaching staff was initially 'sold' on Tebow.

Tebow, 26, won the Heisman Trophy as a sophomore in 2007 and led Florida to a national championship the next season.

Drafted in the first round by Denver in 2010, Tebow appeared in 35 games and started 16 over three seasons with the Broncos and Jets.

Tebow, who has drawn attention for his public displays of faith, will serve as an analyst on ESPN's SEC Network starting this upcoming college football season.
