Army offensive line starter Justin Gilbert to miss season
“He's a starter,” Army coach Jeff Monken said, according to the Times Herald-Record. “If he's not our best offensive lineman, he's certainly one of the best.”
The 6-foot-7, 271-pound Gilbert started all 12 games last season as Army finished third in the country in rushing yards per game (309.8). Army went 3-9 and lost to Navy for the 12th consecutive year.
The Black Knights open the season Sept. 6 against Buffalo.
