Sooners head coach Bob Stoops will have to decide which side of the ball is best for Dalton Rodriguez after he ditched Oklahoma to play defense in Tulsa.

Dismissed Tulsa defensive end Dalton Rodriguez is transferring to play for Oklahoma, according to a report from Ryan Aber of The Oklahoman.

Rodriguez, who was dismissed by Tulsa for violating an undisclosed team rule in March, said he had his doubts about playing there from the moment he joined the team. He now moves to the Sooners, the team he had committed to in high school. Rodriguez joined Tulsa after the Golden Hurricane offered him his preference of playing on defense while Oklahoma reportedly envisioned him on the offensive side of the ball. It's not immediately clear which position he will fill with Oklahoma but he said he's willing to play whatever the coach asks of him, according to the report.

Last year for Tulsa, he had seven tackles and two sacks. Per NCAA rules, he will have to sit out next season but will be eligible to play in 2015.
