Miami tight end Beau Sandland has received his release from the team and is expected to transfer, reports FOX Sports' Bruce Feldman.
A former four-star JUCO TE, Sandland enrolled at Miami in January 2013 after two years at Pierce College in Southern California. He was ranked the No. 1 JUCO tight end by Rivals in 2012.

Sandland caught nine passes for 94 yards with one touchdown last season for the Hurricanes. He played in all 13 games as a tight end and saw some action on special teams.
According to the Palm Beach Post, Sandland wants "to attend college and play football in an environment more like his Woodland Hills, Calif. home, which borders the Santa Monica Mountains."
