The Virginia Tech Hokies finished last season in second-place in the ACC Coastal division with an 8-5 (5-3) record.

This season, the Hokies will return a number of key players on defense, along with top skill position players including running back Trey Edmunds and wide receivers Willie Byrn, Demitri Knowles and Josh Stanford

Finding Logan Thomas' replacement will be Virginia Tech's biggest question mark entering the 2014 campaign.
