"He's been in there all morning getting treatment, we haven't started school yet (so he has time)," head coach Brady Hoke said. "We decided, I made a decision at halftime, so they could start treating it right then. (We didn't bring him out) in the second half, he'd have (just) been in a boot on the sideline.
Peppers was ranked the third-best player in the country by Rivals.com for the class of 2014. He was listed as the top cornerback in the nation.
