Arkansas State Red Wolves vs. Tennessee Volunteers

The Tennessee Volunteers welcome Arkansas State to Neyland Stadium on Saturday. In their opener, the Vols shut down Chuckie Keeton and Utah State, winning 38-7. Arkansas State also comes in with a record of 1-0, having defeated Montana State 37-10 in its opener.

In his first start of the season last Sunday, Tennessee QB Justin Worley completed 27-of-38 passes for 273 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. 

Wide receiver Josh Smith led the team in receiving, finishing the game with three catches for 48 yards. 

In all, 11 different Vols caught a pass against the Aggies.

Marlin Lane led Tennessee in rushing, finishing with 11 carries for 41 yards and a touchdown. 

Freshman Jalen Hurd ran the ball 11 times for 29 yards. 

Tennessee finished with 383 yards of total offense against Utah State.

The Vols did not have any turnovers in their season opener.

Tennessee's defense held Utah State to just 244 yards of total offense. 

Keeton had just 144 passing yards passing and 12 rushing yards on eight carries. 

The Vols also picked Keeton off twice, with Cameron Sutton and A.J. Johnson recording interceptions.
