Air Force Falcons vs. Georgia State Panthers


The Air Force Falcons have started the 2014 season 1-1 after a win over Nicholls State and a loss to Wyoming. Their Week 3 contest is against Georgia State, who enter the game with a 1-1 record after a win over Abilene Christian and a loss to New Mexico State.

This is Air Force's first trip to the state of Georgia for a football game since meeting Georgia Tech in 1977.

Air Force has an open date following this road trip before hosting Boise State on September 27.

The Flacons lead the Mountain West in rushing through two games, averaging 345 yards per contest.

Air Force has not been shut out for 260 games, which is the third-longest streak in the nation. 

Georgia State facts

Saturday's game will mark the first contest between these two programs. 

Georgia State will travel to Colorado Springs in 2015, completing a home-and-home series with Air Force.

This is the third consecutive home game for Georgia State, which shares the Georgia Dome with the Atlanta Falcons.

Georgia State's season-opening win over Abilene Christian represented its first win as a member of the FBS.

QB Nick Arbuckle has amassed 707 yards and 5 touchdowns through the air in just two games.
