Georgia Bulldogs vs. South Carolina Gamecocks

Both Georgia and South Carolina will be seeking their first SEC victories of the season when the Bulldogs and Gamecocks square off on Saturday. Georgia will be playing its first conference game of the season, while South Carolina is 0-1 in the league after losing to Texas A&M in the season opener.

Georgia is coming off of a bye week. The Bulldogs beat Clemson, 45-21, at home in the first week of the season.

Georgia won last year's meeting with South Carolina, 41-30, at home.

Georgia is 19-9-2 all-time against the Gamecocks in Columbia.

Head coach Mark Richt said receivers Malcolm Mitchell and Justin Scott-Wesley are "doubtful" for Saturday's game.

The Gamecocks are one of three South Carolina-based teams on Georgia's schedule this season. The Bulldogs have already played Clemson and will face Charleston Southern on Nov. 22.
