Wyoming Cowboys vs. Oregon Ducks

The Wyoming Cowboys have started the season 2-0, after wins over Air Force and Montana. They travel to Autzen Stadium this weekend for a matchup with the No. 2 Oregon Ducks, who are coming off of a win over Michigan State in Week 2.

Ducks head coach Mark Helfrich, who is entering his second year as head coach at Oregon, holds a 13-2 record. 

Following last week's win over No. 7 Michigan State, the Ducks have moved up one spot to No. 2 in the college football polls. 

Oregon has the No. 2 overall offense in the nation, with a rushing attack ranking at No. 9 and passing offense at No. 22. The Ducks' defense is ranked No. 35. 

True freshman offensive tackle Tyrell Crosby is expected to get the start for Oregon, which means he will be protecting Heisman front-runner Marcus Mariota.

Wyoming facts

Prior to joining the Wyoming team as head coach, Craig Bohl had a 104-32 at North Dakota State, including three consecutive FCS national championships. 

Both Bohl and Oregon offensive coordinator Scott Frost were members of the 1997 Nebraska Cornhuskers national championship team - Bohl played linebacker, Frost was quarterback.

Oregon will be the first of two ranked opponents for the Cowboys this season. The other opponent will be the team that Oregon defeated last week, Michigan State. 

The Wyoming rush defense has allowed just 2.7 yards per carry this season.This is the first time since 2011 that the Cowboys have started a season 2-0.
