Northern Illinois Huskies vs. Arkansas Razorbacks

The Arkansas Razorbacks (2-1) have bounced back from a season-opening loss to No. 5 Auburn with two straight wins, most recently beating Texas Tech 49-28 last week. On Saturday night, Arkansas welcomes the unbeaten Northern Illinois Huskies (3-0) to Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Northern Illinois topped UNLV 48-34 in Week 3.

This is just the second meeting between Arkansas and Northern Illinois. In the only other game, the Razorbacks came away with a 30-27 win in 1994.

Arkansas running back Alex Collins, who rushed for 212 yards and two touchdowns against Texas Tech last weekend, was named the Maxwell Award Player of the Week.

Thanks in part to its strong rushing attack, the Arkansas offense has had its best point total in back-to-back games (122) since the 1928 season.

The Razorbacks rank first in the SEC in total rushing yards, rushing touchdowns, rushing offense per game and yards per carry.

Arkansas head coach Bret Bielema is 32-2 in his career against non-conference opponents during the regular season and 30-6 in the month of September.

Northern Illinois facts

The Huskies hold the nation's longest road winning streak at 17.

Northern Illinois has won 27 of its last 30 games and 27 straight regular season games.

The Huskies' 49 wins since 2010 ranks second in the nation. Only Oregon (50) has more.

Northern Illinois is 1-9 all-time against the SEC.

The Huskies are 0-2 against Bret Bielema-coached teams, losing twice to Wisconsin when Bielema coached there.
