Army Black Knights vs. Wake Forest Demon Deacons

Army (1-1) comes in off its first loss of the season, a 35-0 pounding at Stanford last week. Wake Forest (1-2) enters after a 36-24 loss at Utah State last week. The Demon Deacons lead the all-time series 9-4, including a perfect 6-0 mark in Winston-Salem. Wake Forest beat Army last year at West Point, 25-11.

Wake Forest trimmed a 22-point halftime deficit to eight before falling at Utah State last week.

Tight end Cam Serigne had a career-high seven receptions for 91 yards last week.

Safety Ryan Janvion made a career-best 18 tackles and broke up a pass at Utah State.

Quarterback John Wolford was 30-for-38 in the win over Gardner-Webb on Sept. 6, the highest completion percentage (78.9) for a freshman QB with at least 20 attempts.

The Black Knights last win over Wake Forest was a 14-10 victory at West Point in 1989.
