Boise State goes to the Air Force Academy looking for its fourth straight win and a 2-0 start in the Mountain West Conference. The Broncos (3-1) beat Louisiana-Lafayette last week at home 34-9.
The Falcons (2-1, 0-1 MWC) are back after a bye week. They went on the road to beat Georgia State 48-38 two weeks ago. Boise State leads the all-time series 2-0 after picking up a 42-20 win in Boise last season.

Week 4: Boise State 34, Louisiana-Lafayette 9
The Broncos held Louisiana-Lafayette to 67 rushing yards, the fourth straight game Boise State has held its opponent to less than 100 on the ground. Jay Ajayi rushed for 150 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries. Devan Demas had a 73-yard run, the Broncos’ longest since D.J. Harper’s 80-yarder against Colorado State in 2012.
Week 3: Boise State 38, Connecticut 21
The Broncos’ eight sacks were their most since getting eight against BYU in 2004. Boise State had two defensive scores for the first time since the 2011 Las Vegas Bowl. Grant Hedrick threw two touchdown passes to Matt Miller, who threw one to Hedrick on a trick play.
Week 2: Boise State 37, Colorado State 24
Jay Ajayi had 219 rushing yards and 61 receiving yards while scoring three touchdowns. Boise State’s 676 yards of offense was the fifth-most in school history. Grant Hedrick was 22-for-33 for 352 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for 80 yards and a score.
Week 1: Ole Miss 35, Boise State 13
The Broncos trailed 7-6 entering the fourth quarter before the Rebels struck for 28 fourth-quarter points. The teams combined for seven interceptions, the most in a Boise State game since a 2005 game against Nevada. Grant Hedrick was 36-for-46 for 264 yards and a touchdown but threw four interceptions.

Week 3: Air Force 48, Georgia State 38
The Falcons have scored at least one rushing touchdown in 62 straight games, the longest active streak in the nation. Air Force’s 31 first-half points were its most in the opening 30 minutes since putting up 35 against Colorado State in 2012. Kale Pearson threw two touchdown passes and ran for two scores.
Week 2: Wyoming 17, Air Force 13
Air Force lost on a three-yard touchdown pass from Colby Kirkegaard to J.D. Krill with 58 seconds left. Will Conant hit his fourth field goal of 50 yards or more when he banged home a 50-yarder in the first quarter and also had a career-long 63-yard punt. Jalen Robinette had career highs with five receptions and 96 receiving yards.
Week 1: Air Force 44, Nicholls State 16
Jacobi Owens rushed for 233 yards in his Falcons’ debut, breaking the school record for a player making his first start. The old mark of 218 yards was set by Cody Getz against Idaho State in 2012. Air Force’s 539 yards rushing was its most since running for 595 against Tennessee State in 2011. Owens’ 233 yards is seventh-most in school history and the most in a game since Chad Hall’s 275 yards against Army in 2007.
