Arizona Wildcats vs. Oregon Ducks

Thursday night features a matchup between two undefeated Pac-12 teams, as the 4-0 Arizona Wildcats will travel to Eugene to take on the No. 2 Oregon Ducks. Both teams are coming off bye weeks. 

Last year, Arizona upset Oregon 42-16 late in the season. Oregon was ranked No. 5 in the country at the time.

Sept. 20Oregon 38, Washington State 31

Oregon survived an upset bid from the Cougars and came away with its fourth straight win to start the season. Heisman candidate Marcus Mariota threw for 329 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions. Two receivers finished with over 100 yards in the win: Devon Allen had 142 yards and Keanon Lowe finished with 104. Each caught two touchdowns. 

Sept. 13: Oregon 48​, Wyoming 14

In the team's third win of the season, Mariota completed 19-of-23 passes for 221 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Byron Marshall rushed for 80 yards and a score, while Mariota added 71 yards and two scores on the ground. The Ducks finished the game with 556 yards of total offense. 

Sept. 6: Oregon 46​, Michigan State 27

The Ducks beat the defending Rose Bowl Champions at home. Oregon's offense racked up 491 yards on the Spartan defense. Mariota finished the game with 318 yards and three touchdowns, while Devon Allen had 110 yards on three catches with two scores. 

Aug. 30: Oregon 62, South Dakota 13

Oregon opened up its season with a win over FCS South Dakota. Mariota finished the game with 267 yards passing and three touchdowns, while Byron Marshall added 90 rushing yards. Marshall was also the Ducks' leading receiver, finishing the game with 138 yards on eight catches with two touchdowns. 


Sept. 20: California 45, Arizona 49

Arizona nearly dropped its first game of the season two weeks ago to Cal, but the Wildcats won on a last-second, 47-yard Hail Mary touchdown pass from Anu Solomon to Austin Hill. Solomon finished the night with 520 yards on 47-of-73 passing with five touchdowns and two interceptions. Solomon also led the team in rushing with 46 yards on 16 carries. Two Arizona receivers had over 100 yards: Cayleb Jones had 186 yards on 13 catches with three scores and Hill recorded 127 yards and two scores on eight receptions. 

Sept. 13: Nevada 28, Arizona 35

Arizona finished with 507 yards of total offense, with Solomon throwing for 278 yards on 22-of-26 passing and three touchdowns. Nick Wilson had 171 rushing yards on 29 carries with two touchdowns. Jones had another 100-yard receiving day, with nine catches for 116 yards and two scores. 

Sept. 4: Arizona 26, UTSA 23

Arizona survived an upset bet in its second game of the season. Safety Jared Tevis grabbed an interception with two minutes left in the game to halt a potentially game-tying or game-winning UTSA drive. Solomon finished with 231 yards passing with one score, while Wilson had another 100+ yard day rushing the ball, totaling 174 yards on 30 carries with a touchdown. Jones added 100 yards receiving, making four catches for 143 yards and a score. 

Aug. 29: UNLV 13, Arizona 58

In their best offensive showing of the season so far, the Wildcats totaled 787 yards of offense against UNLV. Two Arizona running backs finished with over 100 yards on the day, with Wilson finishing with 104 on seven carries and a score and Terris Jones-Grigsby adding 124 yards on 13 carries and a touchdown. Wide receivers Austin Hill and Samajie Grant also added a touchdown and over 100 yards apiece.
