Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin returned to Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn., Saturday for the first time since leaving his post as Tennessee's head coach in January 2010 to take the same position at USC.
Tennessee hosts the No. 4 Crimson Tide on Saturday night.
Kiffin coached the Trojans for three-plus seasons before being fired in September 2013.
The Crimson Tide hired Kiffin in January to replace Doug Nussmeier, who left for Michigan. Alabama currently ranks first in the SEC in yards per play (6.93).
In his one season at Tennessee, Kiffin led the Volunteers to a 7-6 record and an appearance in the Chick-fil-A Bowl.
