Oklahoma Sooners vs. Iowa State Cyclones
The No. 18 Oklahoma Sooners (5-2) travel to Ames to play the Iowa State Cyclones (2-5) on Saturday. The Sooners had a bye last week after losing 31-30 to Kansas State the previous week. Oklahoma has lost two of its past three games. The Cyclones lost 48-45 against Texas two weeks ago and have lost three of their past four games.

10/18: Texas 48, Iowa State 45
Iowa State fell to 0-4 in Big 12 play with a loss against Texas. Quarterback Sam Richardson completed 36 of 55 passes for 345 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions, but the Cyclones couldn't keep up with the Longhorns. Texas quarterback Tyrone Swoopes had 321 passing yards and added 95 more on the ground to lead the Longhorns to the win at home.
10/11: Iowa State 37, Toldeo 30
Iowa State's win over Toledo was the Cyclones' second win of the season. Sam Richardson threw for 351 yards and three touchdowns in the win. DeVondrick Nealy led the way out of the backfield with 71 yards on 16 carries, while Allen Lazard caught eight passes for 96 yards.
10/04: Oklahoma State 37, Iowa State 20
Iowa State took a 6-0 first quarter lead after two field goals, but by the end of the first quarter the Cowboys were up 13-6. Sam Richardson threw for 200 yards and two touchdowns in the loss, and wide receiver E.J. Bibbs hauled in two touchdown catches. The Iowa State defense forced two Oklahoma State turnovers.
09/27: Baylor 49, Iowa State 28
The Cyclones’ 92-yard scoring drive in the first quarter matched its longest of the season. All four of Iowa State’s scoring drives were 75 yards or longer. Quarterback Sam B. Richardson’s 47-yard touchdown run is the longest rush of the season for ISU.
09/13: Iowa State 20, Iowa 17
The Cyclones have won back-to-back games at Iowa for the first time since winning three in a row from 1998-2002. Cole Netten hit the game-winning field goal from 42 yards out with two seconds remaining. This is just the second time since the series was renewed in 1977 that the team trailing after three quarters won. Iowa State trailed 14-10 in this game and came back from a 7-6 deficit after three periods for a 19-7 win in 1982.
09/06: Kansas State 32, Iowa State 28
Jake Waters scored for the Wildcats with 1:30 remaining as Kansas State came back from 15 points down to win. It was Iowa State’s earliest conference opener since 2002, when it played Kansas in Week 2. Jarvis West had an 82-yard punt return for a touchdown, ISU’s longest punt return score since a 91-yarder by James McMillion in 1992.
08/30: North Dakota State 34, Iowa State 14
After taking a 14-0 lead, the Cyclones surrendered 34 unanswered points. Aaron Wimberly rushed for both Iowa State touchdowns, the second two-touchdown game of his career. The Bison have beaten an FBS opponent for five consecutive seasons.
10/18: Kansas State 31, Oklahoma 30
A blocked PAT was the difference as the Sooners lost their second game of the season. Trevor Knight threw a touchdown pass to Durron Neal in the fourth quarter, but the PAT was blocked and the Sooners lost by 1. Knight completed 26 of 32 passes for 318 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in the loss. Sterling Shepard had 15 catches for 197 yards and touchdown.
10/11: Oklahoma 31, Texas 26
The Sooners, after falling in the Red River Rivalry last year against the Longhorns, came out victorious this year. Trevor Knight threw for 129 yards and a touchdown. However, the Sooners defense allowed 482 yards to this Texas offense and nearly squandered a lead that at one point was 31-13.
10/04: TCU 37, Oklahoma 33
Oklahoma quarterback Trevor Knight threw two interceptions in the fourth quarter, and TCU hung on to win. Knight's second interception was returned 41 yards for a touchdown, giving the Horned Frogs a 37-31 lead. Oklahoma blocked the ensuing PAT attempt and returned it for a safety. Oklahoma's defense allowed 469 yards.
09/20: Oklahoma 45, West Virginia 33
The Sooners took the lead with 12:22 remaining in the third quarter when Samaje Perine scored on a 9-yard run to break a 24-24 tie. Oklahoma ran for 301 yards; the Sooners have won 36 straight games in which they've rushed for at least 200 yards. Alex Ross' 100-yard kick return for a touchdown gave the Sooners two 100-yard plays in the same season for the first time in program history.
09/13: Oklahoma 34, Tennessee 10
Oklahoma had five sacks in the game after posting four in the first two games. For the first time since 2009, the Sooners held their first three opponents to 17 points or less.
09/06: Oklahoma 52, Tulsa 7
The Sooners' 52 points were their most since scoring 63 against Texas in 2012. Oklahoma improved to 20-1 in its last 21 games against unranked opponents. The Sooners are 13-3 in road openers under coach Bob Stoops.
08/30: Oklahoma 48, Louisiana Tech 16
The Sooners are now 49-9-5 all-time in home openers. Oklahoma scored 21 points in the first quarter, the first time it has scored that many in an opening period since 2010 at Baylor. Running backs Keith Ford and Alex Ross each ran for two touchdowns, the first time the Sooners have had two runners score at least two touchdowns since 2012 against Florida A&M.
