Central Michigan trailed Western Kentucky 42-14 at halftime in the Bahamas Bowl but had a chance to win the game with no time on the clock after a miraculous last-second touchdown.

The Chippewas had the ball with one second left, trailing by a touchdown. Quarterback Cooper Rush heaved the ball as far as he could, finding Deon Butler 48 yards downfield. Three laterals later, Titus Davis dove toward the end zone and touched the ball to the pylon for a touchdown.

Central Michigan opted to go for a two-point conversion rather than tie the game and head to overtime. The attempt failed, and Western Kentucky held on for the 49-48 victory.
