Jim Harbaugh spent part of his first day as the new Michigan coach calling recruits and one that he talked to had glowing reviews for the former San Francisco 49ers head coach, Nick Baumgardner of MLive.com reports.
Five-star tight end recruit Chris Clark said he spoke to Harbaugh on Tuesday and plans to make a visit next month. He decommitted from Michigan when Brady Hoke was fired on Dec. 3. Clark has narrowed his choices down to UCLA and Michigan.
"I think Michigan's going to turn back into a powerhouse with him," Clark said to MLive.com "He's like the LeBron James of coaching it feels like.
"It was a really casual, chill conversation. But it was just really cool. We talked for like an hour," Clark added.
Michigan only has six recruits for the class of 2015.
