Stanford quarterback Kevin Hogan indicated in a message posted to his Twitter account on Thursday that he plans to remain with the Cardinal next season.

A report in late December said there was talk that Hogan, a McLean, Va., native, could possibly play next season at Maryland as a graduate transfer.

Over more than two seasons as the Cardinal's starter, Hogan has completed 65.2 percent of his passes for 6,518 yards with 48 touchdowns and 21 interceptions while adding 913 yards and nine scores on the ground.

Alan George, the school's assistant media relations director, tweeted Thursday that Hogan will remain with Stanford for the 2015 season.
