Donte Jackson, a four-star prospect from Jefferson, La., announced on Wednesday that he has committed to LSU.

"For the next four years i will be playing football and getting my degree at Louisiana State University," Jackson said.

Jackson is the No. 58 prospect in the class of 2015, according to the recruiting service Rivals.com.

Jackson joins four-star cornerback Jeremy Cutrer, four-star safety Xavier Lewis and five-star cornerback Kevin Toliver II as defensive backs in the Tigers' 2015 recruiting class, which now ranks No. 13 in the country.

Earlier this month, LSU picked up a commitment from five-star wide receiver Tyron Johnson at the Under Armour All-America game.
