Two prospects from the Miami area announced on Wednesday that they have committed to Florida.

Vosean Joseph tweeted Wednesday morning that he has pledged to the Gators, and Eric Mitchell tweeted his commitment hours later.

Joseph, who reportedly received a scholarship offer from the Gators on Tuesday, is a three-star linebacker prospect who plays at Miami Norland (Fla.) High.

Mitchell, who reportedly received a scholarship offer from the Gators on Saturday, is also a three-star defensive end prospect who attends Miami Central (Fla.) High.

"That's my dog, my homeboy," Joseph said of Mitchell, according to the Orlando Sentinel. "We talked about coming to a decision and when he decided to commit, I decided to commit. And we want to go there and make Florida the best team."

Joseph and Mitchell are the second and third players, respectively, in the class of 2016 to commit to Florida. The other is three-star wide receiver Rick Wells.
