Offensive tackle Camrhon Hughes is no longer with the Texas football program.

Texas head coach Charlie Strong confirmed to reporters Friday that Hughes, a junior who started six games at right tackle last season, is not part of the team anymore. Reports had surfaced in July that Smith was leaving the program.

Hughes was a four-star recruit out of high school and tore his ACL the summer before he arrived at Texas, which limited his mobility. He slipped on the depth chart at the end of the 2014 season, and Texas started freshman Connor Williams at right tackle during the Orange-White game.

Hughes is the fifth offensive lineman to leave the Texas program in the past year.
