Wednesday August 26th, 2015

The Jim Harbaugh era begins at Michigan as the Wolverines open their 2015 season on the road against the Utah Utes on Sept. 3 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.

The Wolverines finished last season with a a 5–7 record, including 3–5 in Big Ten conference play to finish in a tie for fourth place in the new East Division of the conference. They hired Harbaugh after he parted ways with the San Francisco 49ers after four seasons with the team.

Utah went 9–4 last season with a 5–4 record in Pac-12 play to finish in fifth place in the South Division of the conference. Utah has won the last two meetings against Michigan. Utah won last year's meeting in Ann Arbor 26-10.
