The Michigan Wolverines look to continue their winning ways at home after consecutive victories against Oregon State and UNLV.

BYU dropped its first game of the year last week after falling to UCLA 24–23. The Cougars are no strangers to tight finishes. Quarterback Taysom Hill was lost to a season-ending foot injury, yet the Cougars still managed to convert a last second Hail Mary for the victory over Nebraska to open the year. In the second week of the season, back-up quarterback Tanner Magnum connected on a 35-yard touchdown pass to defeat Boise State with 45 seconds left.

The Wolverines defense is allowing 12.7 points and 236.7 yards per game. BYU will pose Michigan's toughest test before Big Ten conference play begins.
