The South Carolina Gamecocks will face the No. 25 Missouri Tigers on Saturday at Memorial Stadium in Columbia, Mo.

Missouri is coming off a 21–13 loss to Kentucky on the road. The Tigers offense looked better than their 9–6 win over Connecticut in the previous week, as Maty Mauk connected with J'Mon Moore for a 17-yard touchdown to start the game. Mauk finished the game 15-of-30 for 180 yards.

South Carolina enters 2–2 after losing its first two SEC conference games to Kentucky and Georgia. Most recently, the Gamecocks turned their luck around with quarterback Lorenzo Nunez making his first start in the 31–14 victory over UCF. Nunez completed 59.3% of his passes for two touchdowns while also rushing for 239 yards and a touchdown. Running back Brandon Wilds, who missed last week's game, is expected to return to action.
