The Yellow Jackets are coming off a 43–24 loss to No. 5 Clemson last week, during which the offense gained just 71 yards rushing. Georgia Tech has lost four consecutive games for the first time since 1996.
Last week, Pittsburgh defeated Virginia behind 222 yards passing and two touchdowns by quarterback Nate Peterman. The Panthers’ defense forced Cavaliers quarterback Matt Johns to throw four-straight incompletions during the final minute of the game to secure the 26–19 victory. Pittsburgh is 4–1 for the first time since 2009.
