Rarely do college football specialists draw so much interest during media availability, but in the case of Michigan punter Blake O'Neill, his decision (and allowance by Michigan) to speak with the media on Wednesday was big news.

He became the most famous athlete in America following his botched snap in Saturday's shocking loss to Michigan State and, after a smattering of fans elected to send death threats and pathetically hurtful messages his way, some wondered when, or if, the senior from Australia would speak to the media again in 2015.

It came as bit of a surprise that O'Neill held a brief interview session just 72 hours after the loss but also refreshing, especially considering how he handled the questions. He appears to be a well-spoken, professional and very impressive young man.
