Injured Arizona linebacker Scooby Wright says he expects to play in the Wildcats’ bowl game, according to Fox Sports.

Wright told Fox’s Bruce Feldman Saturday that he has resumed running after spraining his right foot earlier this season. Wright also had surgery on his meniscus earlier in the year and has appeared in just two games this season.

The junior was an All-American last season and won the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, Chuck Bednarik Award and Rotary Lombardi Award, all awarded to the top defensive player in the country.

The Wildcats are 6–5, finishing their regular season slate with a 52–37 loss to Arizona State on Saturday.
