No. 20 Northwestern travels to face No. 25 Wisconsin in a matchup of two 8–2 teams looking to add quality wins to their résumés.

The Wildcats have won three straight behind a tough defense, but have been inconsistent on the other side of the ball, leaning on running back Justin Jackson while getting erratic play from freshman quarterback Clayton Thorson.

The Badgers counter with Joel Stave at quarterback, who has been equally as inconsistent and struggled a bit in a 31–24 win against Maryland on Nov. 7.

The winner Saturday will take sole possession of second place in the Big Ten West.
